Darby Marsh and Blausey Marsh – Spring Migration Bus Tours

Take a guided bus tour to two refuge properties closed to the public. Darby marsh is great little treasure tucked between Port Clinton and Camp Perry. At just under 500 acres, this marsh unit is located right along Lake Erie. An osprey nesting platform was installed in 2016 with the partnership of the 200th Red Horse Squadron and has been successfully used ever since. Blausey Marsh is a 100-acre unit located along the Toussaint River. It provides great stopover habitat for shorebirds and waterfowl. An osprey nesting platform is located on this unit as well and has been successfully used most years. Tours leave the visitor center at Ottawa NWR (14000 West State Route 2, Oak Harbor, Ohio) at 7 a.m. and return at 10 a.m. Registration opens Thursday, April 4th at 10:30 a.m. Call 419-313-3236 to register. Bus tours are free. Only one bus tour per group is allowed so that we can accommodate as many visitors as possible.
